Advocacy

I am Donna R. Gore, widely recognized as "LadyJustice," and I am a leading figure in crime victim advocacy. My dedication to supporting victims of violent crimes is deeply personal, stemming from the murder of my father in 1981. This tragic event ignited a lifelong commitment in me to help others navigate the often complex and emotional aftermath of such tragedies.

My approach to advocacy is multifaceted, combining my background and personal experiences to provide both empathetic and practical support.

My work has widespread respect and accolades, cementing my reputation as an advocate who continually strives to ensure that crime victims receive the justice and support they deserve.

Donna is a great advocate for those with disabilities as well as for victims of crimes-she is a truly caring and dedicated soul.
— Dr. William A. Petit, JR. President of the Petit Family Foundation

VICTIM

IMPACT

STATEMENTS

I offer a specialized Victim Impact Statement writing service, providing crucial support to crime victims and their families as they prepare to articulate the profound effects of their experiences in court. Drawing from my personal history and professional expertise, I help clients craft powerful, heartfelt statements that convey the emotional, physical, and financial impacts of the crime. My service ensures that victims' voices are heard with clarity and impact, creating a deeper understanding among judges and juries while contributing to the pursuit of justice and healing for those affected.

Each Victim Impact Statement is a personal account tailored to each individual regarding who the victim truly was in all aspects beyond judicial and media reports, in order to capture the emotional devastation experienced by the family, friends and society as a whole.

DISABILITY RIGHTS AND SAFETY

I am a passionate and knowledgeable advocate for disability rights and safety, drawing from my personal experience living with spastic cerebral palsy. I work tirelessly to promote accessibility, inclusion, and equal opportunities for individuals with disabilities. I provide expert guidance on navigating the often complex social landscapes, ensuring that people with disabilities are aware of their rights to have access to the necessary resources and support.

My advocacy extends to creating safer environments, whether through advising on accessible design, advocating for policy changes, or raising awareness about the unique safety concerns faced by the disability community.

INDEPENDENT LIVING COMMUNITIES

I actively pursue a better quality of life for Independent Living Communities. As a “young senior” and a resident of two different facilities in South Carolina, I have served as an Informal Ambassador for incoming residents.

I have offered innovative plans to educate Administrative Staff and Corporate Managers about the true needs of seniors and the challenges that compromise their abilities as they age. By devising a detailed proposal, I aim to assist in addressing some of these issues.

I have been a participant and creator of many activities that enrich the lives of current residents.

Despite hardships and obstacles set in her path, Donna always finds a way to persevere in service of others.

Grief and Traumatic Loss

I am a seasoned grief and traumatic loss consultant with extensive experience helping individuals navigate the complexities of emotional healing after profound loss. My compassionate approach and deep understanding of trauma provide invaluable support to those seeking solace and guidance in their darkest times. My unique insights, drawn from both personal and professional experiences, empower others to find resilience and hope amidst their grief.

I am a fervent advocate for the LGBTQ+ community, bringing both my personal experience as a gay woman and my professional expertise to my advocacy efforts. I work to promote equality, acceptance, and rights for LGBTQ+ individuals, addressing issues such as discrimination, mental health, and legal protections. I raise awareness about the unique challenges faced by this community and provide support and guidance, helping individuals navigate their personal and social journeys while advocating for systemic change. My commitment to LGBTQ+ advocacy is rooted in my belief in justice and equality for all.
